AN ACT making appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. "An Act making appropriations", Public Act 95-348, approved with items vetoed and reduced on August 23, 2007 and with items restored on October 11, 2007, is amended by changing Section 5 of Article 140 as follows:

Sec. 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Office of the State Comptroller for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008:

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon becoming law.
