| AN ACT concerning public aid.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|

| represented in the General Assembly:
|

| Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by |
| 5 |
| adding Section 3-2.6 as follows:
|

| (305 ILCS 5/3-2.6 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 3-2.6. Sheltered care rates. The Department of Human |
| 8 |
| Services shall increase the sheltered care rates in effect on |
| 9 |
| June 30, 2008, by 10%.

| Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 11 |
| becoming law.
