AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4441

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4441 as follows:

on page 1, line 17, by replacing "term and" with "term,"; and

on page 1, line 21, after "term", by inserting ", and (iii) 
5
children who have attended a State-certified, private 
6
preschool and continued their education at that school through 
7
kindergarten and who will attain the age of 6 years on or 
8
before December 31 of the year of the 2008-2009 school term and 
9
each school term thereafter may attend first grade upon 
10
commencement of such term"; and

on page 2, line 3, by replacing "term and" with "term,"; and

on page 2, line 5, by replacing "3" with "4"; and

on page 2, line 6, after "term", by inserting ", and children
