AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4713

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4713 on page 1, line

11, by inserting after the period the following:

"This immunity shall not be extended if law enforcement has 
5
reasonable suspicion or probable cause, prior to and 
6
independent of the emergency 911 call, to detain, arrest, or 
7
search the person or property of the person who calls 911 or 
8
the person who overdosed that is not a direct result of the 
9
emergency 911 call."; and

on page 2, line 1, by inserting after the period the following:
