    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4777, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
4
1 as follows:

on page 2, line 6, after "services", by inserting the 
6
following:

"for a period of 14 months after the date of his or her 
8
graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health 
9
Education Programs accredited perfusion education program"; 
10
and


 
11
on page 2, by replacing lines 11 through 15 with the following:
12
"supervision and responsibility of a licensed perfusionist or a 
13
physician licensed to practice medicine in all of its branches 
14
who is assigned to supervise the new graduate perfusionist and 
15
who is on duty and immediately available in the assigned 
16
patient care area;"; and

"The Department may, but is not required to, approve continuing

education programs offered, provided, and approved by the

forth in this Section.".
