AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4861

    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4861, AS AMENDED,

with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
4
1, by replacing lines 24 through 26 on page 4 and lines 1 
5
through 10 on page 5 with the following:
6
"subject to a maximum fine of $10,000.  For the purposes of this 
7
subsection (e-12), "vulnerable user of a public way" includes, 
8
but is not limited to, pedestrians who are lawfully present on 
9
the roadway and persons who are lawfully operating the 
10
following on a roadway:

        (1)  bicycles;
12
        (2) wheelchairs;
13
        (3)  motor-driven cycles; or
14
        (4)  farm tractors or implements of husbandry."; and

on page 6, line 9, by inserting "under subsection (a)" after 
16
"conduct"; and
