SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Appropriates $15,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for CILA funding, setting aside $5,000,000 of that amount specifically to fund care for children who are wards of the State and are returned to the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services because the foster parent or parents with whom the children were placed were unable to provide the care needed by those children. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The sum of $15,000,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Human Services for CILA funding, setting aside $5,000,000 of that amount, or so much thereof as may be necessary, specifically to fund care for children who are wards of the State and are returned to the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services because the foster parent or parents with whom the children were placed were unable to provide the care needed by those children.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
