Appropriates $250,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to The Children's Place Association to conduct 2 pilot projects to provide HIV and AIDS testing and counseling services. Effective July 1, 2008.

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The amount of $250,000, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Department of Public Health for a grant to The Children’s Place Association to conduct 2 pilot projects, one pilot project in the Chicago metropolitan area and one in a downstate community, to provide HIV and AIDS testing and counseling services.
Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2008.
