| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, Education is the key to a child's future; and
|
| 3 |
| WHEREAS, Those children with greater opportunities are |
| 4 |
| able to lead brighter and more successful futures; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Due to education funding inadequacies across the |
| 6 |
| state of Illinois and due to the wide range of opinions and |
| 7 |
| issues surrounding education funding, a special session of the |
| 8 |
| General Assembly concentrating only on education should be |
| 9 |
| held; therefore, be it
|
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 11 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 12 |
| urge the Governor to call a special session of the General |
| 13 |
| Assembly concentrating only on education; and be it further
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 15 |
| delivered to the Governor.
