HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Oswego East 
4
High School Girls Bowling Team on finishing second overall at 
5
the 2007 IHSA Girls Bowling State Finals on February 10, 2007 
6
in Rockford; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, The Wolves of Oswego East not only carried the 
8
torch as the school's first athletic team to compete in an 
9
Illinois High School Association State final, but they also 
10
secured the school's first State trophy; and

 

11
    WHEREAS, Senior Kristina Frahm received a medal at the 
12
State finals for the second consecutive year with the help of 
13
687 and 604 series during Saturday play; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, This is only the second year of action for the 
15
Oswego East High School Girls Bowling Team; and
 
16
    WHEREAS, First-year head coach Jeremy Hillman led the girls 
17
through opening rounds as well as the tense Saturday 
18
tournament; and

 
19
    WHEREAS, The members of the Oswego East Wolves Bowling team 
20
are seniors Kristina Frahm, Carly Nielsen, and Angie Casino;

juniors Krystyna Johnson and Stephanie Stefanski; and freshman

Amanda Karnuth; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
5
congratulate the Oswego East High School Girls Bowling Team on 
6
their impressive showing at the 2007 IHSA Girls Bowling State 
7
Finals; and be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to the Oswego East High School Girls Bowling Team.
