| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, On Saturday, April 28, 2007, Advocate Christ |
| 3 |
| Medical Center and Hope Children's Hospital, Oak Lawn, will be |
| 4 |
| hosting the Salute 2007 Gala at the Hilton Chicago Hotel at |
| 5 |
| which Thomas F. Shirey, President and Owner of Frank Shirey |
| 6 |
| Cadillac in Oak Lawn will be honored as the 2007 Outstanding |
| 7 |
| Community Leader for his many years of personal service and |
| 8 |
| commitment to the hospital; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Shirey is chairman of the Christ Hospital |
| 10 |
| Development Council and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Advocate |
| 11 |
| Charitable Foundation; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Mr. Shirey has been an active underwriter of Hope |
| 13 |
| Children's Hospital and has participated actively in capital |
| 14 |
| planning and fundraising to help the organization fulfill its |
| 15 |
| vision of creating a separate Children's Hospital, Pediatric |
| 16 |
| Oncology Center, and a Clinical Auditorium; therefore, be it
|
| 17 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 19 |
| congratulate Thomas Shirey on being honored by Advocate Christ |
| 20 |
| Medical Center and Hope Children's Hospital as the 2007 |
| 21 |
| Community Leader; and be it further
