| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of
|
| 4 |
| Thomas Peter Caffee of Aurora, who passed away on April 21, |
| 5 |
| 2007; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Peter Caffee was a U.S. Mariner for 20 |
| 7 |
| years; his work took him all over the high seas but after |
| 8 |
| retirement he chose to return to Aurora; he was well known in |
| 9 |
| the Fox Valley area after many years with the Protestant Church |
| 10 |
| League, the Wesley United Methodist basketball and softball |
| 11 |
| teams, and as an IHSA official for local high schools; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Peter Caffee was preceded in death by his |
| 13 |
| infant daughter and his granddaughter, Becky Hollenbeck; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, Thomas Peter Caffee is survived by his wife, Fran; |
| 15 |
| his daughters, Beth (David) Kohler and MaryFran (Greg) Twait; |
| 16 |
| and his grandchildren, Megan Kohler, Annie Kohler, Max Kohler, |
| 17 |
| and Jenny (Hollenbeck) Stanley; therefore, be it
|
| 18 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 19 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 20 |
| that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing |
| 21 |
| of Thomas Peter Caffee; and be it further
