HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of  
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate the
Spartans of 
4
Glenbrook North High School on winning the Amateur Hockey 
5
Association of Illinois State title; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, At the United Center in Chicago, the  Glenbrook 
7
North Spartans defeated Fenwick High School in a 4-1 victory to 
8
claim  their school's first Amateur Hockey Association of 
9
Illinois State title
since 1985; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Through hard work and determination, the Spartans  
11
pulled off a stunning victory, with MVP Will "The Wall" Dodge 
12
achieving an incredible 32 saves against Fenwick; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, The Spartans are Trevor Biebrach, Bret Carroll, 
14
Danny Carroll, Danny Chang, Zachary Chiero, Ross Cohen, Will 
15
Dodge, Adam Goldblatt, Brandon Goldblatt, Scott Kebler, Seth 
16
Levin, Jared Lowell, Jayson Megna, Kevin Memolo, Brian Rooke, 
17
Matt Rosenberg, Adam Schloss, David Tulig, Jared Weiss, and 
18
Daniel Wijas; and

 
19
    WHEREAS, The Glenbrook North Spartans Boys Hockey Team is 
20
led by Head Coach Mark Brunner, Assistant Coaches Chris Nein 
21
and  Randy Schlesinger, and Manager Robert Rooke; the school

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate the Spartans of Glenbrook North High School on

6
their Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois State title 
7
victory; and be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be  
9
presented to Glenbrook North High School and the players, 
10
coaches, and manager of the  boys hockey team as an expression 
11
of our esteem and respect.
