| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to honor Pastor Allen Eaton on his |
| 4 |
| many accomplishment throughout the years; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born in Clinton, Missouri to Buck and |
| 6 |
| Margie Eaton and has two younger brothers, Don and Kent; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Allen Eaton is a graduate of Clinton High School,
|
| 8 |
| with a Bachelors from Ouachita Baptist College in Arkadelphia, |
| 9 |
| Arkansas, and a Masters from Southern Seminary in Louisville, |
| 10 |
| Kentucky; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS,
Pastor Eaton's past community service includes |
| 12 |
| serving on the Board of Directors at St. Alexius Hospital,
|
| 13 |
| serving on the Committee on Elder Abuse at Kenneth Young Mental |
| 14 |
| Health Center, serving on various positions with the Schaumburg |
| 15 |
| Clergy Council, serving as Night Chaplain for Northwest |
| 16 |
| Community Hospital and many other volunteer experiences; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Pastor Eaton formerly served as the Pastor of the |
| 18 |
| Kingsville Baptist Church in Kingsville, Missouri,
from |
| 19 |
| September 1972 to February 1976;
as Associate Pastor of the |
| 20 |
| First Baptist Church of Bellevue, Nebraska,
from February 1976 |
| 21 |
| to March 1979, and as the
Pastor of First Baptist Church in |
