| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, Chicago State University is an institution of |
| 3 |
| higher education that has served the people of the Chicago area |
| 4 |
| and the State of Illinois since 1867; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, The mission of the Chicago State University |
| 6 |
| Foundation is to expand and build upon available resources for |
| 7 |
| teaching and service delivery, and further the acquisition and |
| 8 |
| delivery of emerging knowledge; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, For the past 12 years, the Foundation has hosted |
| 10 |
| the Friends of CSU Awards Gala to honor those individuals and |
| 11 |
| organizations who best represent the finest of public, |
| 12 |
| business, and neighborhood dedication to Chicago State |
| 13 |
| University and its mission; therefore, be it
|
| 14 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 15 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 |
| congratulate the faculty, staff, alumni, and students of |
| 17 |
| Chicago State University on the 13th Annual Friends of CSU |
| 18 |
| Awards Gala; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That we wish to congratulate Larry Richman, |
| 20 |
| President and CEO of LaSalle Bank, on his selection as the 2007 |
| 21 |
| recipient of the Friends of CSU Award; and be it further
