HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The institution of marriage is one of the 
3
cornerstones upon
which our society is built, and a marriage 
4
that has achieved a notable
longevity is truly a model for the 
5
people of the State of Illinois; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, George and Diana met while George was working as 
7
an usher in a movie theatre; and

 
8
    WHEREAS, George and Diana were married on June 17, 1961; 
9
and

 
10
    WHEREAS, George and Diana Moser are the proud parents of 
11
George, James, Christina, and John; and

 
12
    WHEREAS, George and Diana Moser are the loving grandparents 
13
of Cassandra (Cassie), Kevin, Kelly, Michael, Alicia, Griffin, 
14
and Lyndsay; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, George and Diana stand as examples of the best of 
16
our
society, and their love and devotion to each other and to 
17
their family and
friends serve as a reminder to all that hard 
18
work, dedication, and love can
make a difference in today's 
19
world; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate George and Diana Moser on this occasion and  we 
4
commend them for achieving a long and happy marriage, blessed 
5
with children and grandchildren, and rich in friendships; and 
6
that we wish them happiness and good health in the future; and 
7
be it further

    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to George and Diana Moser as a symbol of our respect 
10
and esteem.
