| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Guy Case on the |
| 4 |
| occasion of winning a gold medal at the 2007 Special Olympics |
| 5 |
| World Summer Games in Shanghai, China; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Guy Case competed in the bocce singles, doubles, |
| 7 |
| and team competition as one of 30 bocce players on the |
| 8 |
| 399-member Team USA; he received one of 3 gold medals awarded |
| 9 |
| to Illinois athletes during the competition; and
|
| 10 |
| WHEREAS, Guy Case has been a fierce competitor in the |
| 11 |
| Special Olympics for his entire life, having competed at the |
| 12 |
| first Special Olympics Games at Soldier Field in Chicago in |
| 13 |
| 1968; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, An open house will be held on November 10, 2007 at |
| 15 |
| the Manteno Golf Course in Manteno in honor of Guy Case's |
| 16 |
| achievement; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 19 |
| congratulate Guy Case on the occasion of winning a gold medal |
| 20 |
| at the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games and wish him |
| 21 |
| continued success and happiness in the future; and be it |
