| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the faculty, |
| 4 |
| staff, and students of the St. Germaine School in Oak Lawn on |
| 5 |
| the occasion of being the recipient of the 2007 Blue Ribbon |
| 6 |
| Award from the United States Department of Education; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, St. Germaine School was one of 48 private |
| 8 |
| elementary schools in the nation picked for this prestigious |
| 9 |
| award, placing St. Germaine in the top tier of schools in this |
| 10 |
| State and the nation at large; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The St. Germaine School received a Blue Ribbon |
| 12 |
| School Flag and Plaque from the United States Department of |
| 13 |
| Education in recognition of this outstanding achievement; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The incredible success that St. Germaine School |
| 15 |
| has enjoyed would not be possible without the hard work and |
| 16 |
| dedication displayed by the students, the teachers, and the |
| 17 |
| parents, who have worked together to provide an excellent |
| 18 |
| learning experience for St. Germaine's students; St. Germaine |
| 19 |
| serves as a model of the great things that dedication and hard |
| 20 |
| work can do for the children of this nation; therefore, be it
