| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Havana |
| 4 |
| Rural Fire Department Lieutenant Brian DeFord, who passed away |
| 5 |
| on January 6, 2008; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Lieutenant Brian DeFord served with the Havana |
| 7 |
| Rural Fire Department for about five years, developing a fine |
| 8 |
| reputation as a dependable and caring firefighter; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, Lieutenant Brian DeFord's love of life and ability |
| 10 |
| to live it to the fullest endeared him to his family members, |
| 11 |
| friends, and all who knew him, and enabled him to enrich their |
| 12 |
| lives in ways they will never forget; therefore, be it
|
| 13 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 15 |
| mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Havana |
| 16 |
| Rural Fire Department Lieutenant Brian DeFord; and be it |
| 17 |
| further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to the family of Lieutenant Brian DeFord as an |
| 20 |
| expression of our sympathy.
