| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
|

| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Founder |
| 4 |
| and former Executive Director of Carepoint Adult, Child and |
| 5 |
| Family Association, Vince L. Gillon, who passed
away on March |
| 6 |
| 17, 2008; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Vincent Gillon was well known for his
|
| 8 |
| self-determination and ability to overcome many obstacles
|
| 9 |
| presented to him throughout his life; he was a leader in the |
| 10 |
| Evanston and Roger's Park communities
where he campaigned and
|
| 11 |
| provided services to communities in need; his departure will |
| 12 |
| positively affect these communities for years to
come; and
|
| 13 |
| WHEREAS, Vincent Lawrence Gillon was born in Chicago, |
| 14 |
| Illinois; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Vincent Gillon was well known as a soft-spoken
and |
| 16 |
| humble person;
he remained a dedicated
constituent, continuing |
| 17 |
| to campaign and pass out literature to
his community in order |
| 18 |
| to keep people informed of the
happenings in the community so |
| 19 |
| that he, along with many
others, could be responsible for |
| 20 |
| making positive changes in the
community; and
|
| 21 |
| WHEREAS, Vincent Gillon is survived by his wife, Charisse |
