HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives and State Representative Monique D. Davis are 
4
pleased to congratulate Ms. Ethel Hamilton of Chicago on her 
5
75th birthday, April 5, 2008; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, Ms. Hamilton has resided in Chicago for 55 years; 
7
and

 
8
    WHEREAS, She has been an active employee of the Chicago 
9
Board of Education since 1987 as a Hearing/Vision Technician; 
10
and

 
11
    WHEREAS, She has served as a Deacon with the Trinity United 
12
Church of Christ for 30 years, visiting the sick and the 
13
shut-ins of the church; and

 
14
    WHEREAS, She is an active constituent in the Washington 
15
Heights neighborhood; and

 
16
    WHEREAS, Ms. Hamilton will be honored at a birthday 
17
celebration on April 5, 2008 by her family and friends; 
18
therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we

congratulate Ms. Ethel Hamilton on this momentous event and
