| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Lee |
| 4 |
| Grubor, who passed away on March 22, 2008; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Lee Grubor served with pride and distinction as |
| 6 |
| Deputy Fire Chief of the Lewistown Fire Department; he had |
| 7 |
| served as a volunteer firefighter for 21 years; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, Lee Grubor also spent much of his free time |
| 9 |
| working with the Lewistown Fire Department in other capacities; |
| 10 |
| he chaired the committee to rebuild the Lewistown Fire |
| 11 |
| Department building after a fire in 2007; he was largely |
| 12 |
| responsible for fabricating the Sheriff's Department roll-over |
| 13 |
| vehicle demonstrator; he also performed most of the maintenance |
| 14 |
| and mechanical work for the department; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, Lee Grubor had begun a position with |
| 16 |
| Alforter/Caterpillar a few months prior to his passing; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, Lee Grubor is survived by his loving wife, Mary; |
| 18 |
| therefore, be it
