| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives wish to congratulate Reverend John H. Rouse on |
| 4 |
| his 53 years in the ministry and 33 years of service as the |
| 5 |
| Pastor of the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in East St. |
| 6 |
| Louis; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, Reverend Rouse will be celebrating these |
| 8 |
| milestones on May 4, 2008 with a special sermon, including a |
| 9 |
| presentation by Reverend Ranadore Foggs of the New Horizon |
| 10 |
| Baptist Church; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Reverend Rouse has been recognized for his service |
| 12 |
| in the ministry, both in the State of Illinois and around the |
| 13 |
| world; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 16 |
| congratulate Reverend Rouse and his dedication to the Gospel, |
| 17 |
| God's people, and serving others; and be it further

| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 |
| presented to Reverend Rouse as a symbol of our respect and |
| 20 |
| esteem.
