| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate Robert Vorisek on |
| 4 |
| the occasion of his eightieth birthday; and
|
| 5 |
| WHEREAS, Robert Vorisek was born on June 19, 1928; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, He is a 22 year veteran of the United States Army; |
| 7 |
| he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel; and he served in Vietnam |
| 8 |
| with the Vietnamese Infantry Division; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, He is the retired Vice President of the 1st |
| 10 |
| National Bank of Chicago; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, He has served as a Precinct Committeeman since |
| 12 |
| 1972; he served fifteen years as a McHenry County Board member |
| 13 |
| from 1972 to 1976 and from 1982 to 1992; and he was a driving |
| 14 |
| force in establishing the McHenry County Veterans Assistance |
| 15 |
| Commission; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, In addition, he served as the Algonquin Township |
| 17 |
| Supervisor from 1989 to 1993 and on the Mental Health Board |
| 18 |
| (708 Board) from 1992 to 2006; therefore, be it
|
