| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the |

| Carterville Lady Lions softball team on the occasion of winning |

| the Illinois High School Association Class 2-A Softball State |
| 6 |
| Championship; and

| WHEREAS, The Carterville Lady Lions softball team won the |

| Illinois High School Association Class 2-A Softball State |
| 9 |
| Championship on May 31, 2008; the team finished their season |
| 10 |
| with a fantastic 37-2 record; and

| WHEREAS, The members of the Carterville Lady Lions softball |

| team are Rachelle Runge, Miriah Chapman, Hannah Wood, Ashleigh |

| Stucker, Chelsea Presley, Sarah DaRosa, Mollie Thomas, |

| Meredith Brown, Kelsea Ashton, Brittany Ashton, Katie Kidd, |
