| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Kendall County |
| 4 |
| Republican Central Committee and their "Take A Veteran to |
| 5 |
| Dinner" event to be held on July 11, 2008; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The dinner will take place at Ralph's Place at |
| 7 |
| Blackberry Oaks Golf Course; proceeds from the event will be |
| 8 |
| used to purchase an "Honor Flight" to Washington, D.C. for |
| 9 |
| World War II veterans to see the World War II Memorial at the |
| 10 |
| National Mall; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, Bill Niemi of Ralph's Place began with the idea to |
| 12 |
| offer complimentary meals to service men and women in uniform; |
| 13 |
| the Kendall County Republican Central Committee decided to make |
| 14 |
| an event where people could take a veteran to dinner, charging |
| 15 |
| a fee to cover both the purchaser and the guest; and
|
| 16 |
| WHEREAS, Guest speakers and entertainment will round out |
| 17 |
| the evening's events as four hundred veterans attend this |
| 18 |
| dinner in their honor; therefore, be it
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 20 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
