| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the |
| 4 |
| Caseyville Memorial V.F.W. Post No. 1117 and Ladies Auxiliary |
| 5 |
| Caseyville Post 1117 on the 70th anniversary of the Post; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, Caseyville Memorial V.F.W. Post 1117 was |
| 7 |
| instituted on September 7, 1938; the Ladies Auxiliary was |
| 8 |
| instituted on December 12, 1938; and
|
| 9 |
| WHEREAS, The current commander of Caseyville Memorial |
| 10 |
| V.F.W. Post 1117 is David Foree; the current president of the |
| 11 |
| Ladies Auxiliary is Margaret Parsons; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, The Caseyville Post gives back to the community by |
| 13 |
| donating to the Girl Scouts, the Boy Scouts, local hospices, |
| 14 |
| the American Cancer Society, and other organizations; and
|
| 15 |
| WHEREAS, The mission of the Veterans of Foreign Wars is "to |
| 16 |
| honor the dead by helping the living"; and
|
| 17 |
| WHEREAS, There are nearly two hundred men and nearly one |
| 18 |
| hundred women represented in Post 1117; therefore, be it
|
| 19 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
