| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the administration |
| 4 |
| and staff of New Moms, Inc. on the occasion of their 25th |
| 5 |
| anniversary of serving the needs of homeless and at risk |
| 6 |
| pregnant and/or parenting teenage girls in the Chicago |
| 7 |
| community; and
|
| 8 |
| WHEREAS, New Moms, Inc. has put forth considerable time and |
| 9 |
| effort to enable and empower teenage mothers and their children |
| 10 |
| through various services and mentoring programs; the |
| 11 |
| organization's vision seeks to be the model for an effective |
| 12 |
| ministry that breaks the cycle of poverty among at-risk |
| 13 |
| adolescent parents; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, New Moms, Inc. and their wonderful staff serve as |
| 15 |
| models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people |
| 16 |
| of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 18 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
| 19 |
| congratulate the administration and staff of New Moms, Inc. on |
| 20 |
| the occasion of their 25th anniversary and wish them continued |
