| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of |
| 4 |
| Group 819 Polish Women's Alliance on the occasion of the |
| 5 |
| group's 20th anniversary; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, The first meeting of the Group 819 Polish Women's |
| 7 |
| Alliance was held on January 21, 1989 after a one year member |
| 8 |
| recruitment drive; since their first meeting, the group have |
| 9 |
| put together many successful events and have increased their |
| 10 |
| membership to over 200 members; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The Group 819 Polish Women's Alliance will |
| 12 |
| celebrate their 20th anniversary with an event at the White |
| 13 |
| Eagle and mass at St. Eugene on September 21, 2008; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The Group 819 Polish Women's Alliance takes great |
| 15 |
| pride in their Polish heritage and are looking forward to the |
| 16 |
| future; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| congratulate the members of Group 819 Polish Women's Alliance |
| 20 |
| on the occasion of the group's 20th anniversary and wish them |

| continued success and happiness in the future; and be it |
