| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |

| Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the |

| 13-year-old baseball team of the Babe Ruth League in Lansing on |
| 5 |
| the occasion of proceeding to the Ohio Valley regional |
| 6 |
| championship; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, After emerging victorious from the Illinois State |
| 8 |
| tournament, the Lansing Babe Ruth 13-year-old team will proceed |
| 9 |
| to the Ohio Valley regional championship in Dodgeville, |
| 10 |
| Wisconsin; and
|
| 11 |
| WHEREAS, The Lansing Babe Ruth 13-year-old team hasn't |
| 12 |
| played in the postseason since 1987, an indication of the 2008 |
| 13 |
| team's great skill and dedication; and
|
| 14 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Lansing Babe Ruth 13-year-old |
| 15 |
| team serve as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication |
| 16 |
| for the people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |
