HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives wish to congratulate Officer Wayne Biles on his 
4
retirement from the Aurora Police Department after nearly 33 
5
years of dedicated service; and

 
6
    WHEREAS, He also served 26 years with the Association of 
7
Professional Police Officers executive board, including the 
8
last 20 years as President; and

 
9
    WHEREAS, He began his career with the Aurora Police 
10
Department on November 25, 1975; he served in the Patrol, 
11
Narcotics, and Investigations Divisions during his time as a 
12
police officer; and

 
13
    WHEREAS, He is a member of the Keystone Masonic Lodge #15 
14
in Aurora and Marquette Consistory #60 in Joliet; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, He has also served as a board member with the 
16
YMCA; and

 
17
    WHEREAS, Officer Biles will be honored for his hard work 
18
and dedication to others with a retirement party; therefore, be 
19
it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3
congratulate Wayne Biles on his retirement and wish him the 
4
best in his future endeavors; and be it further

 
5
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to Wayne Biles as a symbol of our respect.
