HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate James T. Fagan, 
4
Vice President of the Lincoln-Way Community High School 
5
District 210 Board of Education, on the occasion of his 
6
retirement; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, Mr. Fagan served on the Lincoln-Way Board of 
8
Education for 35 years and served as the board's president 
9
three times; and

 
10
    WHEREAS, Mr. Fagan has a record of outstanding public 
11
service; he has served as the Lincoln-Way Foundation board 
12
liaison, as a member of the New Lenox Plan Commission, and as 
13
an honorary chairman of the Lincoln-Way 2006 basketball 
14
tournament; and

 
15
    WHEREAS, In 1998, Mr. Fagan received the Illinois Chapter 
16
National School Public Relations Association Distinguished 
17
Service Award; and


 
18
    WHEREAS, Mr. Fagan has been called a fiscal watchdog and is 
19
known for his consistency in ensuring that taxpayer money is 
20
spent wisely; therefore, be it

    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
3
congratulate James Fagan on his retirement and wish him the 
4
best in his future endeavors; and be it further

 
5
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6
presented to James Fagan as a symbol of our respect.
