| HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 |
| Representatives are pleased to honor Jacob Luffman of Urbana |
| 4 |
| for his gracious gift of a new bicycle to a 9-year-old boy |
| 5 |
| whose bike was stolen; and
|
| 6 |
| WHEREAS, After a 9-year-old boy's bicycle was stolen at the |
| 7 |
| County Market grocery store in Champaign on October 8, 2008, |
| 8 |
| Jacob Luffman, a third grader at Yankee Ridge Elementary School |
| 9 |
| in Urbana, graciously gave the boy a new bicycle that Mr. |
| 10 |
| Luffman won at the store in August, without payment or |
| 11 |
| presumption of gratitude; and
|
| 12 |
| WHEREAS, Jacob Luffman's parents, Christopher and Melissa, |
| 13 |
| and his brother, Luke, are undoubtedly proud of the incredible |
| 14 |
| generosity and compassion exhibited by young Jacob, as are the |
| 15 |
| members of this body and the people of the State of Illinois; |
| 16 |
| therefore, be it
|

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |

| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we |

| honor Jacob Luffman for his compassion and kindness and wish |
| 20 |
| him our best in the future; and be it further
