HOUSE RESOLUTION

    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3
Representatives are pleased to congratulate Rose Marie Wilson 
4
on her retirement from the Social Security Administration; and

 
5
    WHEREAS, She began working as a Benefit Claims 
6
Representative on June 5, 1966; and

 
7
    WHEREAS, She has worked at the main office in downtown 
8
Chicago, the Evergreen Park office, and will retire from the 
9
Social Security Administration office at 63rd Street and 
10
Cottage Grove; and

 
11
    WHEREAS, Her duties have included reviewing complex and 
12
difficult claims involving reconsideration of previous denials 
13
or cessations, approving appropriate disability claims for 
14
payment and continuance of benefits, and making determinations 
15
on current entitlement to disability benefits; and

 
16
    WHEREAS, In addition she has interviewed beneficiaries and 
17
the general public to determine the nature of any help they may 
18
need from the office, explained technical information, 
19
gathered facts, and resolved problems relating to Social 
20
Security programs; and

    WHEREAS, Rose Marie Wilson is the proud mother of Karen and 
2
LaMonte (wife, Marie) and the loving grandmother of Alvin Jr., 
3
Zhane, Sharon, and Marcellus; therefore, be it

 
4
    RESOLVED, BY THE  HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5
NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we 
6
again congratulate Rose Marie Wilson on her retirement and wish 
7
her all the best in her future endeavors; and be it further

 
8
    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9
presented to Rose Marie Wilson as a symbol of our respect and 
10
esteem.
