To the Honorable Members of the

Illinois Senate

95th General Assembly

            Pursuant to Article IV, Section 9(b) of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby veto Senate Bill 207, entitled “AN ACT concerning State Government.”   I recognize and appreciate the hard work of all the sponsors in passing this legislation.  However, Senate Bill 207 contains identical language as Public Act 95-0170, which I signed into law on August 14, 2007. 

            For this reason, I hereby veto and return Senate Bill 207.
