    Amends the Wildlife Code. Provides an exemption from the trapping license fee for any Illinois resident who has served as an active duty member of the United States Armed Forces, the Illinois National Guard, or the Reserves of the United States Armed Forces. Effective immediately.

    AN ACT concerning wildlife.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended  by adding Section 
5
3.4b as follows:

    (520 ILCS 5/3.4b new)

    Sec. 3.4b. Military members returning from mobilization 
8
and service outside the United States. Any Illinois resident 
9
who has served as  an active duty member of the United States 
10
Armed Forces, the Illinois National Guard, or the Reserves of 
11
the United States Armed Forces may, after making application 
12
under Section 3.4 of this Act, obtain a trapping license free 
13
of charge. The applicant shall, at the time of application, 
14
provide verification of service to the Department at the 
15
Department's office in Springfield.

    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
17
becoming law.
