To the Honorable Members of the

95th General Assembly

Pursuant to Article IV, Section 9(e) of the Illinois Constitution of 1970, I hereby return

Senate Bill 229, entitled “AN ACT concerning civil law.”, with the following specific recommendations for change:

on page 47, line 5, by replacing “Wages” with “Maximum wages”; and

on page 47, line 6, by reinserting “maximum”; and

on page 47, line 7, by replacing “be” with “not exceed”.

With these changes, Senate Bill 229 will have my approval. I respectfully request your concurrence.
