| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 572, AS AMENDED, |

| with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. |

| 5, on page 179, line 22, after "Authority", by inserting "and |

| are subject to the approval of the county board of the county |
| 6 |
| in which the tax is imposed"; and

| on page 180, by replacing lines 21 through 26 with the |
| 8 |
| following:
|

| "an order to be drawn for the payment to each county other than |
| 10 |
| Cook in an amount equal to one-third of the proceeds collected |
| 11 |
| within that county if the county has approved the rate increase |
| 12 |
| authorized by this amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly, |
| 13 |
| and the remainder of the amounts certified shall be paid to the |
| 14 |
| Authority for the amount in accordance with".
