| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 639, on page 1, by |

| replacing lines 4 and 5 with the following:

| "Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by |

| changing Section 11-1507 and by adding Sections 1-120.7 and |
| 6 |
| 1-162.3 as follows:

| (625 ILCS 5/1-120.7 new)
|

| Sec. 1-120.7. Fire department vehicle. Any vehicle, |
| 9 |
| bicycle, or electric personal assistive mobility device that is |
| 10 |
| designated or authorized by proper local authorities for fire |
| 11 |
| department use."; and
|
| 12 |
| on page 2, line 1, by replacing "police vehicle." with "police |
| 13 |
| vehicle or fire department vehicle.".
