    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Genetic Information Privacy Act is amended 
5
by changing Section 25 as follows:

    (410 ILCS 513/25)

    Sec. 25. Use of genetic testing information by employers.

    (a) An employer shall treat genetic testing information in 
9
such a manner
that
that is consistent with the requirements of 
10
federal law, including but not
limited to the Americans with 
11
Disabilities Act.

    (b) An employer may release genetic testing information 
13
only in accordance
with Section 30.
