Makes appropriations to the Auditor General for (i) ordinary and contingent expenses, from the General Revenue Fund, and (ii) audits, studies, and investigations, from the Audit Expense Fund. Effective July 1, 2007.

    AN ACT concerning appropriations to the Auditor General.

 

        Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

 

    Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated to the Auditor General to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Office of the Auditor General, as provided in the Illinois State Auditing Act:

 

For Personal Services:

  For Regular Positions........................ $ 5,000,300

  Employee Contribution to Retirement

    System by Employer................................... 0

  For State Contribution to State

    Employees’ Retirement System................... 576,300

  For State Contribution to Social

    Security....................................... 382,395

  For Contractual Services......................... 764,200

  For Travel........................................ 80,000

  For Commodities................................... 22,000

  For Printing...................................... 25,000

  For Equipment..................................... 65,000

  For Electronic Data Processing.................... 90,000

  For Telecommunications............................ 75,000

  For Operation of Auto Equipment.................... 6,000

    Total                                          $7,086,195

 

    Section 10. The sum of $17,513,900, or so much of that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the Auditor General from the Audit Expense Fund for audits, studies, and investigations.

 

Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
