| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1460 by replacing |

| everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| "Section 5. The Department of Transportation Law of the

| Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding |

| Section 2705-280 as follows:

| (20 ILCS 2705/2705-280 new)

| Sec. 2705-280. The Airport Improvement Fund. The Airport |
| 9 |
| Improvement Fund is created as a special fund in the State |
| 10 |
| treasury. From moneys appropriated from the Fund, the |
| 11 |
| Department must make grants for airport improvement projects in |
| 12 |
| the State.

| Section 10. The State Finance Act is amended by adding |
