    Amends the Illinois Public Aid Code.  Makes a technical change
in a Section concerning payment under the Medicaid program for
obligations incurred but not paid for at the time of a recipient's
death.

    AN ACT concerning public aid.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 
3
represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by 
5
changing Section 5-6 as follows:

    (305 ILCS 5/5-6)  (from Ch. 23, par. 5-6)

    Sec. 5-6. Obligations incurred prior to death of a 
8
recipient. Obligations incurred but not paid for at the
the 
9
time of a recipient's death
for services authorized under 
10
Section 5-5, including medical and other
care in group care 
11
facilities as defined in the "Nursing Home Care
Act", approved 
12
August 23, 1979, as amended, or in like facilities
not required 
13
to be licensed under that Act, may be paid, subject to the

14
rules and regulations of the Illinois Department, after the 
15
death of the recipient.
