| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1592 on page 1, by |

| replacing lines 4 and 5 with the following:

| "Section 5. The Public Utilities Act is amended by adding |

| Section 9-101.5 and by changing Sections 16-102, 16-111, and |
| 6 |
| 16-113 as follows:

| (220 ILCS 5/9-101.5 new)
|

| Sec. 9-101.5. Rates for condominium common elements. For |
| 9 |
| purposes of this Section, "common elements" has the same |
| 10 |
| meaning ascribed to that term in the Condominium Property Act. |
| 11 |
| A public utility that serves at least 2,000,000 customers must |
| 12 |
| charge a residential rate for electric service for the common |
| 13 |
| elements in a condominium.".
