SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
Makes appropriations for the ordinary and contingent expenses of the Board of Trustees of Governors State University for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2007, as follows:

AN ACT concerning appropriations.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:
ARTICLE 1
Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated to the Board of Trustees of Governors State University to meet ordinary and contingent expenses for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2008:
Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
For Personal Services, including payment
to the university for personal services
costs incurred during the fiscal year
and salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
personnel for personal services rendered
during the academic year 2007-2008.......... 22,458,500
For State Contributions to Social
Security, for Medicare.......................... 94,900
For Contractual Services....................... 2,950,000
For Commodities.................................. 150,000
For Equipment.................................... 400,000
For Telecommunications Services.................. 100,000
For Awards and Grants............................ 100,000
For Permanent Improvements....................... 100,000
Total $26,353,400
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1, 2007.
