    AN ACT concerning public aid.

    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

    Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by 
5
changing Section 15-8 as follows:

    Sec. 15-8. Federal disallowances. In the
the event of any 
8
federal deferral
or disallowance of any federal matching funds 
9
obtained through this Article
which have been disbursed by the 
10
Illinois Department under this Article
based upon challenges to 
11
reimbursement methodology or disproportionate
share 
12
methodology, the full faith and credit of the county is pledged 
13
for
repayment by the county of those amounts deferred or 
14
disallowed to the
Illinois Department.
