| AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2397

| AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2397 on page 28, by |

| inserting below line 11 the following:

| "(q) As of the effective date of this amendatory Act of the |
| 5 |
| 95th General Assembly, in the case of units of emergency |
| 6 |
| service support staff, all emergency dispatch, |
| 7 |
| telecommunication, and similar services shall be performed |
| 8 |
| exclusively by public employees employed by public employers or |
| 9 |
| by other public entities and shall not otherwise be contracted, |
| 10 |
| subcontracted, or delegated.".
