| AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |

| represented in the General Assembly:

| Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by changing |
| 5 |
| Section 10-103.1 as follows:
|

| Sec. 10-103.1. This Article does not apply to any person |

| who becomes an
employee after June 30, 1979 as a public service |

| employment program participant
under the
the Federal |

| Comprehensive Employment and Training Act and whose wages
or |

| fringe benefits are paid in whole or in part by funds provided |
| 12 |
| under such Act. |
