Amends the State Comptroller Act. Requires that the Comptroller post specified information about each State contract valued at more than $25,000 on his or her official website during the duration of the contract and for 3 years following the expiration of the contract, including any renewal periods. Effective July 1, 2008.

| AN ACT concerning State government.
|

| Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 |
| represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 |
| Section 5. The State Comptroller Act is amended by adding |
| 5 |
| Section 30 as follows:
|

| (15 ILCS 405/30 new) |
| 7 |
| Sec. 30. Contract information disclosure. The Comptroller |
| 8 |
| must post on his or her official website the following |
| 9 |
| information with respect to each State contract with a value in |
| 10 |
| excess of $25,000 and must maintain the information on the |
| 11 |
| website for the duration of the contract and for 3 years |
| 12 |
| following the expiration of the contract, including any renewal |
| 13 |
| periods: |
| 14 |
| (1) The names of the contracting State entity and the |
| 15 |
| contractor. |
| 16 |
| (2) The purpose and duration of the contract, including |
| 17 |
| any renewal option. |
| 18 |
| (3) The total dollar value of the contract, including |
| 19 |
| any renewals. |
| 20 |
| (4) The procurement method of selection, such as |
| 21 |
| without limitation competitive sealed bid or request for |
| 22 |
| proposal. |
