| SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION
|
| 2 |
| WHEREAS, The 95th General Assembly adopted House Joint |
| 3 |
| Resolution 111 creating the Joint Committee for the |
| 4 |
| Constitutional Convention Proposal and resolving that the |
| 5 |
| Joint Committee file a report with the Clerk of the House and |
| 6 |
| the Secretary of the Senate by April 4, 2008; and
|
| 7 |
| WHEREAS, The Joint Committee for the Constitutional |
| 8 |
| Convention Proposal needs further time to complete its report; |
| 9 |
| therefore, be it
|
| 10 |
| RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL |
| 11 |
| ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES |
| 12 |
| CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Joint Committee for the |
| 13 |
| Constitutional Convention Proposal shall file its report, as |
| 14 |
| established in its authorizing resolution, on or before May 15, |
| 15 |
| 2008; and be it further
|
| 16 |
| RESOLVED, That with this reporting extension, the Joint |
| 17 |
| Committee for the Constitutional Convention Proposal shall |
| 18 |
| continue to operate pursuant to its enabling resolution.
